The Fair Beans Story

Growing up in a Cuban family, coffee was more than a drink. It was a daily ritual, with the rich aroma of sweetened espresso (aka Cafecito) filling the house. Fair Beans was born from that passion: a desire to share exceptional specialty coffee while honoring the people and places behind every bean.

At Fair Beans, we are committed to responsible sourcing, partnering with farms that prioritize quality, fair practices, and sustainability. Many of our beans come from fair trade farms, ensuring farmers receive fair wages and thrive through ethical partnerships. We roast in small batches to bring out each bean’s full flavor, creating a coffee experience that is rich, complex, and memorable.

We believe that every bean tells a story of the farmers, the craft, and the journey from soil to cup. With every purchase, you’re supporting sustainable practices and building a deeper connection to the people behind your brew.

Fair Beans is my way of sharing that passion with you: one cup, one story, one meaningful connection at a time. Welcome to Fair Beans, where every sip makes a difference.

FAQs

Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers

At Fairbeans.com, we only sell roasted-to-order coffee, ensuring customers receive the freshest beans possible within days of roasting. The peak time to brew your coffee is right after the beans go through a process called degassing. Coffee degassing refers to the natural process where roasted coffee beans release gases, primarily carbon dioxide (CO2), typically from 3-5 days to 2 weeks. Meaning once your coffee beans arrive at your door, it’s the perfect for brewing.

While all of the green coffee beans are sourced responsibly by our partners, not all of our beans are Fairtrade certified. Look for the Fairtrade Logo on the label to ensure that the coffee beans are sourced from Fairtrade certified farms.
