Fairtrade Colombia Coffee Beans - Medium Roast
Grown high in the mountains of Tolima, Colombia, this coffee comes from the dedicated farmers of Café del Macizo, a cooperative founded in 2003 in the rural municipality of Planadas. Today, 59 lifelong coffee growers share their knowledge, land, and traditions to produce exceptional coffees while supporting one another and their community.
Situated in the foothills of the Cordillera Central, these farms sit between 1,500 and 2,100 meters above sea level, where cool mountain air and rich volcanic soils create ideal conditions for cultivating high-quality coffee. Carefully grown varietals including Caturra, Castillo, and Typica are hand-harvested and washed before being sun-dried, preserving the clarity and character of the beans.
The result is a beautifully balanced cup with medium acidity, a rounded body, and layered notes of dark chocolate, mango, and peach, delivering a complex yet approachable profile.
This coffee is Fairtrade® certified, reflecting our commitment to responsible sourcing and fair partnerships with the farmers who make every cup possible.
